Warning Message for Creating Global Contact Record

This new feature gives the user the ability to promote a Site Contact to the Global Contact record. While doing so, the system displays a warning message if the record is already in the system and if the same contact is a duplicate. However, this does not restrict the user’s ability to create two global contacts with the same email address. Refer to the screenshot below.

A global contact is displayed under the Metadata/Quick View panel of a Study>Site>Contact. Refer to the screenshot below.

  1. Click on the Go To Global Contact link to view the Contact Details page. Refer to the screenshot below.

  2. The user can unlink the global contact whenever required. Refer to the screenshot below.

  3. The user can promote a global contact from Study>Site>Contacts. Refer to the screenshot below.

  4. Once the contact is promoted globally, click on the name link displayed under the Global Contact in the grid. Refer to the screenshot below.

  5. An additional Linked Contacts tab and page is displayed. Refer to the screenshot below.
