Claiming the Incident
Once the user (Originator) submits the incident for review. It will proceed further and will be sent to the Process. Once an Incident is submitted by the Originator, it proceeds to the Assessment Stage, where it is assigned to the Process Owner or Supervisor for further action. At this stage, users can perform multiple actions depending on the workflow configuration, such as Claim, Clarify, Approve for Investigation, or Close.

Follow the steps below to claim the incident.
- To check the Incident that has been Available for Review user (Process Owner) needs to navigate to the Incident in the Quality Module.
- Click the Waffle Menu located at the top-left corner of the screen, then select
Quality Module. The user will be redirected to the Quality Module’s Dashboard
screen.
- In the left navigation panel, click the Incidents icon, which will open the
Incident screen. To check the Incident that has been Available for Review, the user (Process
Owner) has multiple options using the view by functionality. By default, it is selected By
Team.
- Select the My Assignments view
and click on the Select button.
- It will display the My Assignment view from the folders. Click
on the Available for Review folder. It will display all incidents
with a stage status of Available for Review.
- Click on the Incident title, and the metadata page will appear on the right side of the screen.
- To claim the incident, click on the Claim
button.
- After clicking on the claim button. A successful message will display at the top right
side of the screen. The Incident is in the Assessment In Progress stage.
Note: Users can see options in the screenshot below: Approve for Investigation, Clarification, and Close, which depend on the configuration in the workflow.
- If the Process Owner wants to proceed further. Click on the Approve for
Investigation.
- Now the Incident Assessment process is completed, and from Assessment In Progress to the Investigation Pending stage.
